Artstor has digitized and published approximately 1,600 images of architecture from the archive of Brian Davis in collaboration with Canyonlights World Art Image Bank.

The collection in Artstor documents architecture and garden sites in Europe, primarily in Britain, from the Middle Ages to the early 20th century, providing extensive coverage of English design from the 17th through 19th centuries, with buildings by Inigo Jones, Christopher Wren, Robert Adam, John Soane, John Nash, Joseph Paxton, Augustus W. N. Pugin, and others. There is also a selection of images of gardens and landscape architecture in England, Russia, and Italy.

Brian Davis teaches British Studies and has given courses in literature, art, and architecture at the Universities of East Anglia, Cambridge, and Bath. He is widely known for his commercially distributed teaching slides of architecture, which are made available by Canyonlights World Art Image Bank.

Canyonlights has also collaborated with Artstor to share and create additional images of architectural and archaeological sites in Europe and the United States. See the Canyonlights World Art Image BankCollection.
